MARKETING MANAGER

Kings Theatre is an iconic and historic venue located in the heart of Flatbush in Brooklyn. This 3K+ capacity venue is a part of the UK-based ATG Entertainments's portfolio of international venues. Kings Theatre is known for bringing a variety of acts from concerts to family programming, comedians to community events and more.

I work solely alongside the Marketing Director to promote all shows, ensure an optimal experience for patrons at the venue, and grow the brand and positive reputation amongst patrons, promoters, and artists.

At Kings, I primarily focus on the strategy and content creation of all email campaigns to a subscriber database of 250K+ including:

  • weekly newsletters promoting new and upcoming shows
  • highly targeted dedicated email campaigns to promote shows and announce pre-sales/on-sales
  • premium experience upgrade offerings
  • pre-show communications to ticket holders

social media

I lead the strategy and management of the Kings' social media accounts, including show announcements and promotions, post-show recaps, and more. I piloted a bi-weekly series called #FlatbushFridays to highlight and educate users about the historic neighborhood and the local businesses and organizations that help make the borough thrive.

website

As I began my new role in March 2023, Kings was revamping their website per ATG. I collaborated alongside the Marketing Director to get our new website up. I continually work on maintaining this website, building it out with more content, and increasing accessibility. I ensure all shows have event listings appropriately created on our website.

design / video editing / signage

All of our design is done in-house. I create a variety of different assets, including resizing + localization of admats provided to us as well as creating admats for artists' teams; original content creation for organic and paid purposes; in-house signage and out of home buys; and short-form video content utilizing motion graphics.

Launched in Fall 2023, I helped redesign the in-house beer at Kings Theatre. All elements were hand-drawn. Produced in partnership with Interboro Spirit & Ales, the "Where Craft is King" can has been a huge hit! 🍻

In Winter 2023, I also designed our in-house popcorn cup.

Institutional campaign creative - made in Adobe After Effects - to promote upcoming shows in the subways of New York City.

I also manage the print and digital signage at the venue. This includes managing content found on digital screens across the venue, printed posters as well as the iconic marquee out front.

paid media + marketing partners

Alongside the director, we collaborate on managing digital campaigns with the show budgets allotted. Several partners we work with include DoNYC, Oh My Rockness, BrooklynVegan, MommyPoppins and more.

We also work alongside a digital agency to manage all campaigns through paid social, search and display ads.

I also work on securing organic trade with partners for inclusion in email and/or social to relevant audiences.

press + photogs

All press is handled in-house, which includes pre- and post-show press coverage and managing day-of press.

I also book and manage all house photographers to capture content on behalf of the venue.
